The ARC Mission
The ARC Foundation is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting families raising children with special needs and complex medical conditions. We exist to help ease the financial, emotional, and logistical burdens families face—so they can focus on what matters most: helping their children grow, heal, and thrive.
Our primary mission is to provide financial assistance for medically complex children who require therapies that are not fully covered—or not covered at all—by traditional insurance. These therapies can be life-changing, yet financially out of reach for many families.
ARC was founded by a medical mother of twins born extremely prematurely. Like many families navigating early intervention and ongoing care, our founder experienced firsthand both the extraordinary impact of specialized therapies and the significant financial strain that often accompanies them. Through this journey, one truth became clear: every child deserves access to comprehensive, supportive care—regardless of circumstance.
In addition to supporting children, the ARC Foundation also provides financial assistance to parents and caregivers. The trauma, stress, and exhaustion that accompany medically complex caregiving are profound and frequently overlooked, as parents prioritize their children’s needs above all else. We believe caring for caregivers is essential to caring for children.
Finally, ARC proudly recognizes the pediatric medical professionals and therapists whose expertise, compassion, and dedication make this care possible. After spending 156 days in the NICU at Primary Children’s Hospital, our founder remains forever grateful to the clinicians who saved her daughters’ lives and continue to support their care. As a small expression of gratitude, the ARC Foundation hosts a quarterly appreciation breakfast for nominated pediatric medical and therapy clinics—honoring the people who give so much to our children and families every day.
Together, we are turning generosity into life-changing therapy for children.
